Senator Timothy M. Kaine is currently serving as the junior United States Senator from Virginia since 2013. Senator Kaine is a member of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, the Senate Committee on Budget, the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions. Previously, Senator Kaine served as the 76th Mayor of Richmond and the 70th Governor of Virginia. Senator Kaine earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Missouri before graduating with a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
